When we are in deep communion with ourselves, present in our bodies and our environment, we know who we are. We breathe, and we fill our own skin. When we come into deeply felt prayer of Place, in movement, in yoga, in simple repose, our Spirit knows itself. And we are Home.

Imagine capturing that moment in a potent image of embodiment. One you could have on your wall, or your altar. A touchstone, a reminder of your magnificence and your beauty. Imagine how that would hold you.

We are offering Portrait Sessions to image your body and spirit in the landscape.

You will be guided in sensing and listening to yourself and the surroundings.
Whilst each location is different, you will be invited to connect with, as felt experience, the particular landscape and its elements, finding that voice within your own body; water, sand, rock, tree, among others. Inhabiting that echo in your own tissues and Being.

The location can be a place that is special to you, or, we can offer suggestions. Together, we will listen, and hear your vision for yourself, in creating images that speak to your body-land connection with deep resonance.

Body Land Portraits are a true collaboration between Narelle and Glen. Between us, with you, in communion with the Land.

My land-body portrait session with Glen and Narelle was a delight! We connected deeply with the essence of the land through the spectacular rocks at Coolum Beach. The Grandmother Ancestors welcomed us, and there was a sacredness present in our time together. These two beautiful souls were amazing to work with! We played, we laughed, and they both guided me into greater communion with the landscape and the elements. Glen and Narelle's combined energy helped me to relax into the environment and let the magic happen. And indeed, it did! I completely love the images that were created! They paint a beautiful story of my land-body connection, and truly represent me, in my wholeness. Glen’s expertise in photography and fine art certainly shines out through them. Not only will I use these in my business, but they are also a precious memory to keep for the years to come.

Glen has been a dedicated Fine Art photographer for over 40 years. The first 30 years were spent with view cameras, sheet film, and long hours in the darkroom. All of this film experience continues to inform his daily practice of photography, most of which today is done with the camera in his iPhone. Portraiture and the Still Life have been the predominate focus of his work from the very beginning. His love of these two themes continue to this day.
You can see more of Glen’s work on his  Photography Website, L. Zongpo Studios
